TOLEDO
City of great artistic beauty and former capital of the country. The city offers magnificent examples of architecture from different periods – Arab, Jewish and Catholic – making it one of Spain’s most important historic cities and a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.
TOLEDO
Located 70 km away from Madrid is Toledo, a beautiful city-museum declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is one of the oldest towns in Europe and has a great artistic beauty and buildings from almost all periods in history (Arabian, Gothic, Mudéjar, Renaissance and Baroque style). Toledo is called the “City of the Three Cultures”, since Christians, Muslims and Jews lived together. In the XVI century, it was also home to the great painter El Greco.
Itinerary
PANORAMIC TOUR and walk through the city to admire the streets and many sights: PRIMATE CATHEDRAL, SANTO TOMÉ CHURCH (The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, one of El Greco’s masterpieces), SANTA MARÍA LA BLANCA SYNAGOGUE, SAN JUAN DE LOS REYES CHURCH, VICTORIO MACHO MUSEUM (visitors first see what appears to be a theatre, but thanks to the latest technology, they are soon immersed in a hyperrealist environment, presenting the city of Toledo and its history) and CRISTO DE LA LUZ MOSQUE. You will also see works made using the damascene technique (precious metals inlaid in steel), part of the city’s rich artisanal tradition.

Schedule
The tour is about 8 hours long, therefore we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
To tour departs at 8.45 am. From April to October we have daily departures. From November to March the tour departs on Mondays, Thrusdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Please be present at the meeting point 15 minutes before to the tour's departure.
Please print your voucher and give it to the guide. E-voucher's are also accepted.
At 13h, who has chosen the food option, will taste our fabulous tapas menu. Otherwise, they have 1 hour to walk and have lunch.
