THE WORKS OF ART HELD BY THE PRADO, THE THYSSEN-BORNEMISZA AND THE REINA SOFÍA MUSEUMS MAKE UP ONE OF THE WORLD’S BEST COLLECTION OF ART WORKS

The pass must be redeemed at the ticket office of the museum Thyssen.
You can then access all three museums, without any need for queuing, upon  presenting the ticket at the door.

The ticket MUST be validated first on the Thyssen Museum. After its validates, you can acess all three museums without waiting.

PRADO MUSEUM

Opened in 1819, the Prado Museum boasts one of the largest painting collections in the world. Works by Titian, Velázquez, Rubens, Goya and other painters who worked for thekings and queens of Spain reflect many of the most significant episodes in European history.

THYSSEN-BORNEMISZA MUSEUM

The museum collection provides a tour through Western art from the 13th through to
the late 20th centuries and reflects the tastes of the two persons principally responsible for its existence,barons Heinrich Thyssen- Bornemisza and Hans Heinrich Thyssen- Bornemisza, both of whom were well versed in the Central European artistic tradition. The portrait and landscape genres are very well represented, as areImpressionist paintings and historical avant-gardes.

REINA SOFÍA MUSEUM 

The Reina Sofía Museum houses a major art collection spanning the late 19th century to the present day. Guernica, the large-format canvas that Picasso painted for the Spanish pavilion at the 1937 Paris Universal Exhibition, forms the nucleus of a collection that boasts a wide range of pieces by this artist and by others including Miró and Dalí.
